Black and white photograph of a group of 12 people, Danish immigrants to New Richland, Minn.; includes 10 men and 2 women, mostly unidentified, but man in front is identified as Louis Pedersen; right of him is the donor's grandfather, Anders Peder Andersen. (Anders Peder Andersen was born April 25, 1884 in Noerreby, Klinte parish on the island Funen in Denmark. His parents were Rasmus Andersen Skjellund and Kirsten Emilie Pedersen. Anders came to the America at age 28 to learn farming methods. He spent 7 years between 1912 and 1919 in Waseca County, some time in Minneapolis, Albert Lea, St. Ansgar, Iowa and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He joined the Danish-American Brotherhood while in the United States.)
