Guy Everett Residence on East Elm Avenue. Material: paper. Size: 5" x 3 1/8". Description: black and white photograph of the Guy Everett home on 814 East Elm Avenue, Waseca, Minn.; shown in winter, frosted trees, and several inches of snow on the ground; a hedge surrounds the Everett house and trees in the front yard, boulevard and side yard; Guy W. Everett was the brother of E. A. Everett, son of William A. Everett; all part of the EACO Flour Mill business. William A. Everett was a Waseca County settler. Built in 1899.
The donor is the great-grandson of William Everett, co-founder with Aughenbaugh, of the E. A. Co Mill in Waseca County. The Everett home, built by William's son Edward Everett, overlooking the east end of Clear Lake, was a showplace in its time, a classic Victorian-style home, it was demolished in 1958 it was an architectural and historical loss to Waseca County.
