Louis Petersen (back row, fourth from left) immigrated to Minnesota with wife, Karen, from Denmark; a friend to the donor's grandfather, Anders Peder Andersen, who lived a short while (4-5 years) in Waseca and New Richland, but later returned to Denmark December 1919. Louis Pedersen, his wife Karen, and their daughter Anna Maria stayed in Waseca County for some years, but his address in 1933 was Racine, Wisconsin. (Anders Peder Andersen was born April 25, 1884 in Noerreby, Klinte parish on the island Funen in Denmark. His parents were Rasmus Andersen Skjellund and Kirsten Emilie Pedersen. Anders came to the America at age 28 to learn farming methods. He spent 7 years between 1912 and 1919 in Waseca County, some time in Minneapolis, Albert Lea, St. Ansgar, IA and Milwaukee, WI.
