Rev. O. A. Mellby. 1 7/8" x 2 3/4" black and white lithograph portrait of Reverend O. A. Mellby circa 1900; "Rev. Mellby was the first resident pastor. His field of work was wide spread, there being at one time ten preaching places covering a radius of 60 miles. He served New Richland, LeSueur, Ellendale, Medo, Aurora, and North Waseca parishes. Bad roads, hard winters and much travel brought a great deal of hardship, but he was blessed with a strong physique and a strong constitution and cheerfully endured what was the common lot in those days..."
