These photographs are from an old album containing tintypes and carte-de-visites of members of the Allyn and Cummins families of Janesville and Madison Lake, Minnesota. The album itself is brown leather with gold-leaf embossing on the cover, the word "album" on the spine; 5 1/4" x 6 1/2" x 2 1/2" with a silver metal hasp, hand-inscribed, "C. Cummins, Eagle Lake, Minn."
