The GFWC (General Federation of Women's Clubs) Waseca Monday Study Club began in 1904. The logo was designed by Mrs. Vera (Murphy) Galligan and first used in 1914 on the program booklet cover and on every program booklet until 1954. Thestamp was donated to the club by the program committee: Mrs. M.P. Fuller, Mrs. W. C. Hermann, Mrs. I. Seager, Miss Mary Smith, and Miss Clara Goodsell in 1914.
