A.J. Anderson was a Waseca county buttermaker for many years and won some outstanding awards. Among them was a Sweepstakes Award given by the National Creamery Buttermakers' Association, which was held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin October, 1909. His score was 97. He also received a Sweepstakes Award by the same group in 1911. At the National Dairy Show held in Columbus, Ohio in 1917, Mr. Anderson was given a bronze medal for the second highest scoring entry of 94.
