Hellebo as he stood high above the street in the grain elevator located near the railroad tracks; signs on buildings include Christ Krueger, Beer and Malt, Farley's Hardware, Hotel, Democrat (newspaper) Office and Artistic Printing, Swifts Pride Shop; John Deere Plows; in view are storefronts, rooftops, church steeples, windmills, hotel, Janesville School, Opera House, large trees, Lake Elysian and farm beyond; large three story gabled house in center identified as residence of Dr. Martin and Stella Taylor built on 1903.
