The former Minneapolis and St. Louis railroad depot was built in the early 1900s near the intersection of Elm Avenue and State Street. Waseca resident Debra Schmidt painted this scene in 1976, showing the depot as it was before the M & St. L was taken over by the Chicago and North Western.
