Description: black and white photograph of the Waseca Evangelical Church originally built in 1902 on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 3rd Street N.E. This photo taken about 1950 shows some renovations done, such as addition of basement door to the right of the front steps; the cross and "Jesus Saves" sign over steps; this church was torn down and a new one built in 1959. This photograph actually belongs to Jeannette Krause's church, the Waseca Evangelical Church, built in 1902. She gave us permission to scan into the records for reference. LU designation means that the image only was borrowed and scanned into our database by permission of the owner. Actual possession of the photograph was retained by the owner and not transferred to WCHS.
