Bishman Family Portrait of Man and Woman. 5 1/2" x 4" photograph of unidentified couple, the man has a white "fringe" beard along his jaw and chin; he is posed seated on an upholstered chair; the woman stands beside him. Photo on cardboard mount identifying photographer, Yates Sisters, Waseca, Minn.
From Mary Bishman Krassin album; donated by Mr. and Mrs. Adam Bishman, Otisco settlers of 1856. Note from WCHS member: Joanne Hintz: "Chuck Lucas identifies this couple as 'Grandma Meyers' sister and husband'; Mary Bishman Krassin's husband Gust had five sisters: Wilhelmine (Manthey); Augusta (Meyers); Henrietta (Krassin); Amelia (Rudolph) and Emma (Pommerening)." Most likely woman in this photo would be either Wilhelmine or Emma.
