Two Black Boxers in a Tennessee Training Camp During the Spanish American War. 5" x 4" black and white photograph of two African American men boxing with infantrymen watching. On the back, a note reads, "Rastus, with long pants, boxing with another colored boy before a group of Spanish War Training Camp soldiers in Tenn. "Rastus" (surname unknown) came with the Waseca Company as mascot and remained about town for some time after mustering out."
