Ward house at 312 2nd Avenue N.E. (formerly Wood Avenue), Waseca, Minn., across the street.

Notes on duplicate photograph state that this photo taken in moonlight with a one hour exposure. Nathaniel Garland was the first sheriff of Waseca County in 1857; his son Ralph D. Garland lived in this house; he was Alderman from the 2nd Ward for many years until 1905. Wood Avenue or Wood Street became 2nd Avenue April 1928.
