Description: photograph of the view east of Waseca Lake Avenue and main street buildings some identified as Waseca County Courthouse and Sheriff's residence / Sheriff's Office and jail, Waseca County Jail; the converted house that stood west of the Waseca County Courthouse; the former jail house was torn down in 1971; the Wobschall, later Ed Fretham residence, Grant Hotel or Grant House, Grapp & Son Furniture.
Donated by Miss Constance Everett. Waseca business: Main street businesses. The courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Sites. Lake Avenue became 3rd Avenue April 1928.
