Glass Plate Negative Holder. Material: wood, metal. Size: 4 3/4" W. x 6 7/16" L. x 3/4" D. Description: brown finished wooden frame - backed with shiny silver panel stamped: "Canada Pat. Aug.25-03, British Pat. Apr 21-03, France Pat. Apr 18-03, German Pat. Pending, U.S.A. Pat. May 19-03" and "{remo Film Pack Adapter" - open at one end - holds thin, black painted slide that snaps into place with metal springs at frame bottom and is stamped: "The Premo Camera, Pat. July 19, 1890, Other Pat's Pending" - stamped into frame side: "For Premo Cameras" - used to hold glass plates in camera chamber for exposure - .
