Glass Plate Negative Holder. Material: wood, metal. Size: 4 3/4" W. x 6 7/16" L. x 5/8" D. Description: brown finished wooden frame - wood panel backed - open at one end - holds two thin, black painted slides that snap into place with metal springs at frame bottom - stamped on one slide: "Exposed" -used to hold glass plates in camera chamber for exposure.

Used by Amund S. Bagne when he operated a photogarphy studio in Waseca in the early 1900s. Goes with camera, #1556
