Waseca business: Koechel Leather Shop. Shell originally had a pincushion of gold felt that was glued into the cavity. Koechel's was at 114 No. State St. & in business from 1895-1982. It was first owned by H.F. Koechel & then by his son, Alvin. The building was demolished in April 1984.
