Sacred Heart High School Band Uniform. (a) Jacket. Material: textile, metal. Size: 19" W. across shoulders x 28 3/4" L. Description: red wool tailored, long sleeved jacket with black bodice lining and white sleeve lining; small notched collar forms lapels; an epaulet on each shoulder secured with a silver button; center front closure with four silver buttons from V-neckline to waistline; white piping around collar and four front pocket flaps; inside tag: "Lee Watson Fort Forty, PA". Some trim has been removed. (b) Cords. Material: textile and metal. Size: 25 1/2" L. Description: three loops of white cording one of which is braided; silver tip on end of one cord; cords attach to a button on jacket's left shoulder epaulet with two loops. (c) Trousers. Material: textile and plastic. Size: 18 3/4" W. x 25" L. inseam. Description: red wool trousers with two narrow vertical stripes extending vertically down each side seam pant leg; inner white cotton waistband and pocket lining; front closure with four black buttons in a hidden fly placket; on hip pocket and slash side pockets; I.D. tag: "Adelphia Uniform Co. Inc. Phila Order O - 40394 No. 21, Mr. Walter Nelson Town Forty Fort PA".
Waseca City Schools - Sacred Heart High School (SHHS). Music - Band. 34.99.1 and 78.80.2 Pieces of this uniform were worn by James Rohde and a member of the Klug family. The two uniform donations were blended together to make a complete band uniform. One uniform was donated by James K. Rohde in 1999 and one uniform was donated by Mary Klug 19 March 1980. Band uniform made in the 1950s, Sacred Heart High School bought the band uniforms used from a school in Penn. in 1958.
