Shortly after the church was constructed in 1874, August Bade donated the land on which the church now sits. In 1884, the first parsonage was build at a cost of $840.00. In 1885 the congregation erected a school building. in 1892 a tower was built and a bell was added in 1896. In 1907 a new parsonage was built for about $2,900 and the old parsonage was turned into a teacherage. In 1949, the church building was completely remodeled and a full basement was constructed.
