World War II Military Badge of James Gutknecht. Material: metal. [c] U.S. Army insignia. Size: 1 1/4" diameter x 3/4" thick. Description: bronze medal eagle shaped clutching wheat sheaf and torch in talons; ribbon and medallion at top; threaded screw end on back. (b) Clasp. Size: 1 1/2" diameter x 1/8" deep. Description: bronze disk with a small center hole attaches to screw end of #4668b, both #4668 (b,c) fit through an eyelet in cap visor (4668a) and attach with two washers and a hexagonal nut. Part of U.S. Army Uniform, #4668a (cap), #4669 (cap), #4670 (overcoat), #4685 (jacket).
