U.S. Army Uniform, 8469a-n - steel helmet; 11 3/4'W x 12 1/4'L x 5'H; painted olive green with sand in the paint; inside is a brown leather strap attached to either side via a rectangular metal hook, strap is for under chin & closure is a buckle like on a belt; padding inside has gray felt rivet to top of crown; sides has brown leather with vertical slits; hatband covers leather & is black (feels like vinyl); handwritten inside rim is 'E.O. Krause'
