Army Uniform 1980s. (a) Blouse. Material: textile and metal. Size: 17 1/4" W. across shoulders x 31 1/2" L. x 25" L. sleeves. Description: green wool serge front jacket closure with four gold colored metal shank buttons stamped with the Army crest; one pleated breast pocket on each side; one pocket on each side below waistline; all pockets close with a single button flap; long sleeves; shoulder epaulet straps attach with a single button; center back vertical vent; triangular patches at both shoulders display the gold embroidered Army crest (rank insignia: private first class); rectangular red and gold patch on left shoulder displays two black arrows pointing upwards (division); green satin bodice and sleeve lining, white label inside right breast pocket with cleaning instructions, label inside back neckline: "37R", cord (#88.98.6) is worn on the left shoulder strap and sleeve. (b) Pants. Material: textile, metal, plastic. Size: 31 1/2" W, x 39" L. Description: green, wool pants with front closure with a metal zipper with one hidden plastic button, one slit pocket on each side at hipline, one slit pocket on back at both sides.
Waseca County Military - Peacetime U.S. Army uniform worn by donor's son, Devin Hoy who enlisted in January 1986 and was discharged in January 1989. Hoy attended boot camp in Ft.
