Mary Ryan Diploma Holder. Material: paper, textile. Size: 2 1/2" W. x 4" L. Description: white cardstock rolled into a cylinder shape with a die-cut center: "Class '17"; a vertical slit on each side; gold and purple 4 1/4" lengths of ribbon passed through; handwritten in black ink above Class 17: "Miss Mary Ryan".

Waseca City Schools - Sacred Heart High School. The paper ring goes around the diploma. Mary Ryan graduated from SHHS in 1917. She married John M. Riesch of Owatonna on 18 August 1937.
