Uniform, Military, Korean War Shirt

Korean War Uniform worn by Krause. Material: textile and metal. Size: 22 1/4" W. across shoulders x 30 1/2" L. x 22" L. sleeves. Description: U.S. Marine Uniform. Olive green denim with a herringbone weave - round neckline - small two-pointed collar - front closure with three metal buttons stamped "U.S. Marine Corps" and a white plastic button at neckline - one patch pocket on each side below waistline - one left patch type breast pocket stamped: "USMC" with the Marine crest - "L.P. Krause" stamped in black just above the pocket - long sleeves - three black chevrons on each sleeve (rank of Sgt.) - two metal buttons on each cuff same as pocket buttons - "Tiny" is handwritten in black marker on back center. (Rip on left sleeve - rip and open seams on right sleeve - hole in left bottom pocket.)
Waseca County Military - Korean War. Worn by donor's father, Lawrence P. "Shyde" Krause whose nickname in the Marines was "Tiny" because of his large size.
