Waseca County Military - Mexican War. Arthur Welch was born in Janesville on 4 or 5 Mar 1890 to Mr. & Mrs. I.(Irad) J. Welch and married his wife, Alice. Welch served a year with Co. H, 2nd MN Infantry, on the Mexican border in 1916; his disability kept him out of WWI.
