Bullet Mold. Material: metal. Size: 4 1/2" W. x 9" L. x 1 1/2" thick. Description: two handled hinged device; on the ends are square metal forms with a ribbed bullet shaped indentation on the inside; when the handles are closed there is a hole in one end of the mold that can be covered with a rotating metal flap that has a smaller hole in it; the flap is secured to the mold via a screw; one handle has a long cylindrical bullet mold sticking out of it & 2 holes behind it; other handle is 2 small thin cylindrical projections that correspond to the holes in the other handle; condition - metal is slightly rusty
Used for loading old muskets to "crimp" the shells.
