Carrier, gas mask

Material: textile, button, metal. Size: 10" W. x 10 3/4" L. x 3" deep. Description: olive green - canvas - adjustable 1 7/8" W. x 34 1/2" L. neck strap - six metal hooks and bars - top closure with two snaps in a fold over flap - two inside pockets - two rectangular rings on front exterior. Condition - dirty, faded.
Waseca County Military - WWI. Used by Frank Willis Huginin during war. Carrier strap was worn around neck with bag hanging down in front of chest. Canister of gas mask remained in bag while gas mask was being worn.
