World War I Army Uniform Leggings. (a, b) Material: textile, metal. Size: 8" W. x 10 1/2" L. Description: olive green canvas leggings with four vertical gores; two metal hooks on one end and one riveted eye, five metal eyelets riveted into a stay on other end, green string lacing through eyelets; side closure with lacing attached to hooks and tied at top; inside stamp "S.E. Liederman" & 8620" & "51" & "8-98" & "8649" & "6.86.6a(w)" accession number) "New York Depot". Part of U.S. Army Uniform, 6.86.1-8.
Waseca County Military - WWI. Worn by Frank Cahill of Janesville. He entered the U.S. Army in November of 1917. Private Cahill was a member of the 52nd Ammunition Train.
