Uniform Legging World War I. Material: textile, metal. Left legging. Size: 6 1/2" W. x 11 1/2" L. (excluding strap) Description: olive green heavy canvas ankle and lower leg covering; metal buckled olive green strap fits over foot instep; eight metal eyelets on inside leg with seven metal hooks on other side that hook onto brown shoe lace threaded through the eyelets; top and bottom eyelets secure lacing string; same as #8436g (right legging) -, handwritten inside: "Dwight L.
