PLACEHOLDER Military pants. Material: textile, metal and celluloid. Size: 34" W. waistline x 28 1/2" L. Description: olive green wool - jodhpur style pants taper to reinforced knee area and calves - front closure with two brown celluloid buttons three silvertone buttons imprinted with "U.S. Army" in a fly placket - natural colored cotton waistband and pocket lining - 24 metal eyes on each outside pant leg hold a green lacing cord for closure - pant leg hems bound with khaki binding - one coin pocket on front right below waistband. U.S. Army Uniform, #8148 a,b (blouse & pants).
Waseca County Military - WW I. Found with other articles donated by the Howard Deichen Estate donated in August 1976 and it is assumed that these pants are part of the same donation.
