(a) Jacket. Material: textile, metal, plastic. Size: 21 1/2" W. x 36 1/2" L. Description: green wool with green satin lining in arms and front panels - V-neckline - wide notched collar forms lapels - front closure with four buttons (three black plastic buttons stamped with Marine insignia and one green plastic button) - one pleated breast pocket on each side close with one black plastic button in a flap - one deep pockets on each side lower front with flap and one button closure - buttonholes on lapels - epaulets secured with a black plastic button stamped with Marine insignia - 15" L. back pleat - black cord loop inside back neckline. (b) Pants. Material: textile, plastic. Size: 19" W. x 47" L. Description: green wool - front closure with five black plastic buttons in a fly placket - two back pockets with flaps - two slit pockets at each side - one coin pocket at waistline - "P. Krause" stamped in waistband.
U.S. Marine dress uniform # 23.98.1-6. Waseca County Military - Korean War. Belonged to Lawrence P. "Shyde" Krause whose military nickname was "Tiny". Japanese currency note found inside pocket.
