(a) Jacket. Material: textile, plastic, metal. Size: 18" W. x 22" L. Description: olive green wool - olive green cotton lining - waistline length "Ike" style - collar - lapels - front closure with four green plastic buttons and one snap hidden in a vertical placket - buttonhole in reinforced green ribbon under left lapel to receive button under right lapel (button missing) - long sleeves - 2 3/8" W. banded cuffs with a single button closure - shoulder epaulets fasten with one button each - one pleated breast pocket on each side with a one-button closure under a flap - one inside breast pocket on each side in lining 2" W. waistband closes with a black buckle on each side seam - green patch trimmed with gold laurel wreath on right sleeve cuff - blue patch trimmed with a flaming sword and "6th Armored Division" on left shoulder - two inverted "V" stripes on left shoulder (signifies rank of corporal) - decoration/ribbon bar above left breast pocket. (b) Pants. Material: textile, plastic. Size: 34 1/2" W, x 43" L. Description: olive green wool - five green plastic buttons in a fly closure - 2 front slit pockets - 2 back flap pockets.
Waseca County Military - Korea. Issued to donor's husband, Stanley Roeglin who served as a corporal in the U.S. Army's 6th Armored Division from 1952-54. Ribbon Bar - 1. white, black, red, white stripes (Army of Occupation Medal) 2. red, white, blue.
