New Richland Centennial Button. Material: metal. Size: 2 1/4" diameter x 1/4" thick. Description: white round laminated disk, upper half blue graphic design of covered wagon, oxen, man walking with gun and knife, two figures inside wagon driving, blue sky and white landscape background; lower half imprinted with red: "100 Years Growing 1877-1977 Centennial Celebration June 23-24-25-26 New Richland, Minn."; silver backed with safety pin and latch.
New Richland City celebration: Centennial. Donor history: Jean Romine Horn (1917-2008; parents: John and Cora (Sunde) Romine; New Richland High School graduate; Iowa State graduate as dietician; married William Horn in 1945; together the Horns built and operated the Horn Inn in New Richland (Highway 13) from 1950-1958; opened Horn's Lanes bowling in 1959 until 1964; Horns were parents to Pam Horn Goehring (Larry) and a son William Jr. who died in infancy.
