Green Wool with Fur. Material: textile, fur and metal. Size: 16 1/2" W. at shoulders x 42" L. Description: green wool herringbone pattern - brown satin lining - black cotton gauze interfacing - below knee length - 3" W. brown and cream colored fur collar widens to 6" at shoulders and extends down to hemline on both sides of front opening - front closure with two hidden hooks and eyes at waistline and hipline - 1" W. x 14" L. brown satin hand or arm straps on each side of interior bodice for holding coat closed when coat is used as a cloak - long set-in sleeves - one vertical pocket opening on each side of coat at hipline - designer label inside lower right coat opening: "Styled by Susley - All Wool Fabric".
Bought in Mankato and worn by donor. This style sometimes referred to as a "Tuxedo Coat".
