Straw Brimmed Cloche Style Hat with Beige Fabric Flowers Around the Crown. Material: straw, textile. Size: 9 3/4" diameter x 6 3/4" H. Description: natural straw woven with straw-like trim to form tufted topside of the downward angled brim; beige textile flowers and a brown velvet band encircle the high crown; beige net lining and ribbon headband; labeled: "Union".

Woman's Accessories. Donor was Margaret Bohnert who married Harvey Schroeder in October of 1954 at the rectory of the Waseca priest. Harvey Schroeder died 23 July 1960. In February 1964, she married Francis Hager. This hat was worn to her daughter's (Jane Hager) baptism.
