Boy Scout Fleur-de-lis Patch. Material: textile. Size: 2 3/8" diameter. Description: white heavy cotton disk with a red five-petal flower, gold colored fleur-de-lis on a white center background; black stitched letters and numerals on petals: "B.P", "1907", "1957", "1857"57, 1857" - white ribbon loop at top - black handwritten note on back: "Zeke Davis Troop A1".
Organization: Boy Scouts of America. Part of a larger collection that includes the Boy Scout shirt and medals attached to it, neckerchief, slide, and merit badge sash (#9.97.1-13); worn around button of right breast pocket & under the flap, possibly a swapped patch from the European jamboree. "B.P." stands for Baden Powell who started scouting.
