(a) 3 1/4" W. x 3 5/8" L. x 3/8" D.; one half of a cased daguerreotype; leather cover with a floral design stamped into it, on right side of case are 2 eyes for clasp to close the case; daguerreotype of a bearded man, dark 3 piece suit, white shirt and something dark at neck; gold frame with oval opening; condition - daguerreotype shows some distress around the edges; (b) 3 1/4" W. x 3 5/8" L. x 3/8" D.; other half of a cased daguerreotype; leather cover with a floral design stamped into it, on left side are 2 hooks to slip into eyes on other half to close the case; daguerreotype of a woman whose dark hair is parted in the middle, dark dress with white dickey & brooch at neck, wristlets on both wristlets, bracelet on right; gold frame with oval opening; condition daguerreotype shows some distress around the edges
