Martha Sorenson. 19 3/4" x 13 3/4" hand-colored, black & white portrait photograph of Martha Sorenson. Photo on convex mount; woman is wearing bonnet that has feathers or lace on top, ribbons that hang down on each side; dark satin dress with set in sleeves, pleats down front of bodice, white lace collar, white brooch at neck; checks touched up with pink, background is a greenish-yellow. Edges show slight marking from frame.

Mrs. Sorenson was an early settler of the New Richland & Otisco township area. She lived to be over 100 years old. There is another photograph of her by her log cabin just northwest of the LeSueur River Church in Otisco Township.
