Candlestand
(a, b, c) Material: wood and metal. (a) Stand. Size: 16" W. x 53" H. Description: wooden board base in "X" shape - wooden block reinforces center - 53" L. pole extends upward through the base - pole top forms a triangular peak - three holes bored through poles at intervals - a wooden peg can be inserted in any one of of the holes to secure the arm piece (#78.96.2) of the candlestand. (b) Arm. Size: 13 1/4" square x 2" H. Description: wooden boards screwed together in "X" shape - four wooden blocks on each arm with square holes extending through center - each block has a handcarved candle holder hole in the center - secured to stand with wooden peg. ( c) Peg. Size: 5/16" diameter x 3 7/8" L. Description: natural wood - handcarved dowel - used to secure armpiece to candlestand.
Purchased by donor at a Waseca County antique sale who also clean it and reinforced it by adding new wood screws. Labeled .1; .2; .3. Can be relabeled 78.96 (a, b, c).
