Smith Premier No. 2 Manual Typewriter. Material: metal, textile. Size: 13" W. x 13" L. x 10" H. Description: black painted metal with a double keyboard (three rows for upper case, three rows for lower case), bottom strike type bars arranged in circle underneath platen, QWERTY arrangement of alphabet, numbers on outside and black inked ribbon; white permanent label across front of machine: "The Smith Premier Typewriter"; gold permanent labeling on front: "Smith Premier No. 2"
Used by Frank Mosher, father of donor, when he worked for the Chicago & Northwestern Depot in Waseca, Minn.
