Description: black silk top hat with a red silk lining; white crest label: "Melton - Hatter to the Queen & HRH The prince of Wales - London"; high flat crown with a narrow brim that encircles lower crown; black ribbon hatband; written inside hat: "Linn Somerstad".

Men's Accessories. Originally worn by Dr. Prail. Later used by the first grade children of Mrs. Rose Somerstad for Lincoln's Birthday.
