PLACEHOLDER U.S. Navy Nurse Uniform Cap With 4 Covers, #3250 a,b,c,d,e. Material: textile. Size: 7" diameter x 2 5/8" H. Description: white cotton - summer cover for crown of #3250a - shell shaped with white ribbed ribbon sweatband; 4 buttonholes for snaps to fit through to attach to top of crown.

Used by Lt. Florence Scholljegerdes, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Scholljegerdes. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, 10 Dec 1943, as an ensign. At the time of her gift of uniforms to WCHS, she held the rand of Commander U.S.N.R. (1971).
