U.S. Navy Nurse Uniform Cap With 4 Covers, #3250 a,b,c,d,e. Material: textile. Size: 7" diameter x 2 5/8" H. Description: black wool - cover for crown of #3250a - shell shaped with black grosgrain sweatband - four buttonholes for attaching to top of crown.

Used by Lt. Florence Scholljegerdes, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Scholljegerdes. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, 10 Dec 1943, as an ensign. At the time of her gift of uniforms to WCHS, she held the rand of Commander U.S.N.R. (1971). Double numbered #1.82.7e
