U.S. Navy Nurse Uniform Cap With 4 Covers, #3250 a,b,c,d,e. Material: textile. Size: 7" diameter x 2 5/8" H. Description: blue and white striped cotton - cover for crown of #3250a - shell shaped with same fabric sweatband - four buttonholes for attaching.

Used by Lt. Florence Scholljegerdes, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Scholljegerdes. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps, 10 Dec 1943, as an ensign. At the time of her gift of uniforms to WCHS, she held the rand of Commander U.S.N.R. (1971). Double numbered #1.82.7d
