Osman Temple Fez, Shriners Fez. Material: textile, metal, leather glass. Size: 10 1/2" diameter x 6" H. Description: red wool - circular, high straight sides, flat topped hat - part of Shriner costume - gold letters across front: "Osman" above the Shriner symbol of a scimitar, crescent moon and star - black tassle extends from top and held in place on side with silver sword and rhinestone pin - brown leather sweatband.

Shriners International describes itself as a fraternity based on fun, fellowship, and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. The organization is best known for the Shriners Hospitals for Children that it administers, and the red fezzes that members wear.
