Man's Handkerchief Container. Material: wood, celluloid, metal, textile. Size: 6 1/2" W. x 7 1/2" L. Description: dark stained, finished wooden box, domed and hinged lid with box and lid white celluloid ornate overlay; purple watered silk lining; ornate lid lettering around a center medallion design: "Handkerchiefs".

Belonged to donor's grandparents: Huson P. Norton. They came from Wilton to the Town of Waseca in 1857. Mr. Norton is buried at Woodville.
