Light Brown Cotton Print Dress of Florence Davenport Speight. Material: textile, metal. Size: 60" W. x 56" L. Description: light brown cotton floor-length gown; random 1/8" white polka dot pattern; 1" W. standup collar encircles the neck and fastens in the back with snaps; 3 1/2" W. shirred band across each shoulder; 1" W. vertical pleats across bodice from shoulder to waistline; long leg-o-mutton puffed sleeves tuck pleated from elbow to 1 1/2" W. cuff that closes with snaps; two 1" W. x 10" L. bands of dress fabric attach on each side of waist to fasten in the back; bodice and skirt are cut from one seamless length of fabric having no waistline seam; gores seamed into skirt; three horizontal flat 1 1/2" bands of same fabric encircle skirt near hemline; 1 1/2" W. center back pleat runs from neckline to above hemline; 20" L. back closure placket in pleat fastens with 4 snaps.
