Erma Miller's Dress. Material: textile. Size: 16 1/2" W. bodice x 44" L. Description: yellow checked cotton - white with checked piping squared collar - center bodice white cotton vertical insert trimmed with two horizontal bands of checked material - short sleeves cuffed with white cotton trimmed with yellow checked fabric - skirt gathered to waistline - skirt side panels trimmed with four horizontal rows of white fabric - mid calf length hemline.

Worn by Erma Miller as a teacher in Plainview and Waseca (her last year). Erma Miller was the daughter of Fred and Amelia Somer (or Sommers) Miller and the sister of Rueben Miller. She lived by Clear Lake near the present day (1992) Methodist Church.
