Material: textile, metal. Size: 21" W. x 57" L. Description: black satin brocade - black taffeta lining - gold fringed shawl collar - gold embroidered band extends from neck to hemline on both sides of front opening - closure with ornate metal buckle at front neckline.

This is the Vestment or Cape worn by Father Treanor during his 45 years as Pastor at Sacred Heart, Waseca. He came here from Old St. Mary Church . Black was official color for funerals and processions and blessings. Maybe worn during Lent, special blessings & services.
