China Silk Wedding Dress. Blanche Clement Van Loon White Cotton Batiste, Bloused Waistline, Lace Inserts, Floor Length. Material: textile. (a) Waist. Size: 33" W. 18 1/2" L. Description: white cotton batiste; white lace inserts at yoke and collar; vertical tucks in bodice and long sleeves; ruffles over each shoulder. (b) Skirt. Size: 90" W. x 39" L. Description: white cotton batiste floor-length; tiny vertical tucking from waist encircle skirt; white lace inserts in skirt - ruffle at hemline. (c) Belt. Size: 4" W. x 27" L. Description: white cotton batiste with tucked design.

Hand-tailored by Mrs. Fred Logue and worn by Blanche Clement, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Clement, when she married B.F.(Ben Franklin) Van Loon on May 7, 1907 in her home in Waseca. It was Mr. Van Loon's 28th birthday. Goes with Pantalettes 2286.
